Pastor Evvie Smith knows all too well what it means to be broken. She has been through it all.
A teen mom at 16 years old. She dealt with mental, physical and verbal abuse. Pastor Evvie has been both the drug dealer and the drug abuser. At one point she was even facing prison time. Throughout her life she struggled with low self-esteem and low self worth. But even in her brokenness God still loved her and brought her through it all. HE RESTORES EVERYTHING THE ENEMY TOOK FOR HER!
Today, Pastor Evvie Smith is a Minister of the Gospel, Founder and CEO of Keep Moving Ministries, Bestselling Co-Author ,Mother of 3 and Grandmother of 7.
In 2014, She founded Keep Moving Ministries to help give women a second chance at life through Christ.
In 2016 the ministry expanded as she began feeding, clothing and speaking God’s Word to the Homeless.
She graduated with Honors and received a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Ignite Life Seminary School in June 2017. Pastor Evvie hosts two annual empowerment conferences; one for women and one for men.
Pastor Evvie believes that when women get back in the place that God created us to be in, then men can get back in there rightful place. Experiencing being out of place herself she has made it her mission, with the help of God to bring restoration to each person. Empowering and equipping them to become the person God purposed them to be. Genesis 1:27 states we are created in his image and His image is what we should see.
Helping broken women conquer the wounds, scars and nightmares of past hurts, mistakes and abuse they will come to a place where they can forgive others and themselves and get the strength to KEEP MOVING!
We connect with other nonprofit organizations so we can have a greater impact in our community. Our volunteers have a servants heart and we want to make sure that everyone knows that they are loved. Whether it's from a plate of hot food or the hygiene packs or clothing that they are given. Love is an action word and we make sure our actions show that.
